SharpdTalk to support
Staff and operations

Keep the whole team aligned around one working schedule.

A clear roster is more than a list of names. It helps owners make coverage visible, record days off and exceptions, and give each role the access it needs for its part of the day.

01

Build coverage before the week starts

Use the roster to look at opening, peak, handover and closing coverage. Keep barber availability and reception coverage in the same operational conversation so the shop does not discover gaps only after appointments are already booked.

02

Separate planned shifts from one-off changes

Recurring shifts give the team a baseline. Days off, time away and exceptional changes should be recorded as changes to that baseline, so an owner can see what is normal and what needs attention this week.

03

Give access by responsibility

Sharpd supports salon admin, manager, receptionist and worker roles with permissions. Define responsibilities first, then review access when someone joins, changes role or leaves the shop.

Owner checklist

  • Weekly coverage is reviewed.
  • Days off and exceptions are recorded.
  • Role responsibilities are documented.
  • Access is reviewed when roles change.
